JEE Advanced, formerly known as IIT-JEE, is the second phase of the prestigious national-level engineering entrance examination. It is conducted for 10+2 level students aspiring to secure admission into India’s top engineering institutes, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Only students who qualify JEE Main (Phase 1) are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, and admissions to Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, and Dual Degree programs are based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced.
